When my wonderfully creative mother turned up at my house to give me some beautiful Easter decorations she'd made, my friends instantly fell in love with them and suggested she make a few more. Their enthusiasm gave us a great idea. Mum and I decided to make 20 more bunnies, sell them to friends and donate all the proceeds to First Touch. Read more …

Our team participated in the Samworth Challenge on Saturday 13th June 2009. The challenge took place around Coniston and Coniston Water. We completed a 14km Walk with a height gain of 1056m, Canoed for 11km and then just to finish us all off, ended with a bike ride of 30km with a height gain of 500m. Read more …

On 6th June I completed my first Triathlon, at Blenheim Palace. The swim stage was going to be hard enough, as three months before the triathlon I could barely do 25m in the pool, and the swim at Blenheim is 750 meters of “open water” (in a lake, basically), but then, to make matters worse, it was followed by the 20K cycle and a nice little 5K run. I went cycling with a dozen friends from London to Paris between 1 - 3rd May. The trip entailed cycling about 120km per day with a sleep on the ferry on night one, in mid -northern france on night two and finally arriving at the Eiffel Tower on sunday to hoist the Union Jack. Read more …
