Annual neonatal memorial service – remembering our babies lost too soon

The Annual Neonatal Memorial Service is a very important event for the families of babies who have died and for the neonatal staff who cared for them. Although this year we sadly cannot meet in person, we are planning an online service which everyone will be able to join from home to remember and to celebrate the precious babies who were not able to go home with their families.

The service will be available online from 3pm on Sunday 11th October and the link will be posted on the First Touch website and on the First Touch Facebook page nearer to the time.

Families who would like their baby’s name to be read out during the service should please email [email protected] by 5th October.  The service will be pre-recorded so we must receive your request by this date.

First Touch funds the memorial service as part of our commitment to supporting bereaved families. This year we have small heart shaped candles which can be posted out to bereaved families to light as part of the service.  If you would like us to send you a candle please email your name and address to [email protected] by 5th October.

Our service is held during Baby Loss Awareness week and you may also like to join us in the Wave of Light at 7pm on 15th October, where the world comes together to light a candle to remember all the precious babies lost too soon.
