Lucas was born on the Neonatal unit in 2004.
Laura, our Charity Director – who was then a Neonatal Consultant, spent one long and anxious night by Lucas’ incubator when his condition deteriorated and his questions were asked about his survival.
Fortunately for everyone, Lucas eventually made it home to his parents Nicola & Richard!!
Lucas and his mum, Nicola, have been First Touch supporters, volunteers, marathon runners and friends ever since!
Well done Lucas – we are all very proud of you!
